The services listed below are not necessarily a complete list of everything that we offer. If you don’t see what you are looking for, give us a call and we will help you with your special project. If we don’t do it, then we most likely can steer you in the right direction.

We primarily work within the Phoenix Metro area, and the Tucson area. However, we have completed projects all across the state of Arizona and in New Mexico.

MAJOR BUILDING DEMOLITION:

Our specialty is major demolition of complete buildings. This includes all sorts of buildings, such as shopping malls and parking structures, or houses, apartment buildings, stand alone restaurants or auto dealerships. When we perform this type of project, it will include the haul off of all the debris including the dumping fees, and it will include other items such as a demolition permit, filing the NESHAP if applicable, and obtaining a dust permit if applicable. We offer a turnkey product.

SELECTIVE DEMOLITION:

This includes demolishing and removing just a portion of a building or a singular item in a building. Examples of this would be the removal of interior finishes of a restaurant or retail space, or removing escalators inside of a shopping mall, or removing a portion of a block wall and roof at a commercial building, or the removal and backfill of a swimming pool at a house. As with other jobs, we will obtain a demolition permit for this work and file all other applicable permits for a turnkey project.

SPECIALTY DEMOLITION:

There are many items outside of building demolition that we have tackled in the past that take special equipment, a broad range of experience and skills, and the ability to adapt to special circumstances. Some of these situations include removing a portion of the deck on a bridge, or completely removing a bridge, or the dismantling of the former Air Traffic Control Tower at Sky Harbor International Airport, or the demolition of a large water treatment plant, or removal of underground fuel tanks, or dismantling an elevated water tower.

We have also had projects where we dismantled an entire building by cutting the concrete and handling all the materials by wheel barrows or small forklifts. We had to do this due to being in such close proximity to the infant intensive care unit at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital, which required us to complete all of the work with small hand equipment.

CRUSHING AND SCREENING (RECYCLING):

One option that many projects have is to crush concrete or asphalt materials on site and screen the materials into different sized products and then re-use the materials for the new building or new use of the land. Breinholt Contracting can provide these solutions, which opens the door to many opportunities when trying to economically manage environmental concerns and achieve sustainability for your project.

EARTHWORK:

Many demolition projects that we perform have grading requirements that we also will complete as part of our effort to provide turnkey services.

HEAVY HAUL/TRANSPORTATION:

Breinholt Contracting has a nice fleet of trucks for transportation of heavy equipment. We have also had the opportunity to haul closed containers, flatbed loads of general cargo, or transport mobile office units. We can handle any sized load up to 130,000 pounds. We have the oversized/overweight permits needed and can arrange for escorts for turnkey transportation solutions.
